Homemade Indian Chicken Tikka Masala

That’s exactly what we are going to learn today - the recipe to make the absolutely delicious Indian Chicken Tikka Masala.

Chicken Tikka Masala is a one-of-its-kind tomatopurée-based Indian dish, but you will be surprised to know that with our Tikka Curry Masala, it becomes very, very easy to make it. Plus, nothing beats the experience of making a meal at home and the aromatic experience you get while preparing this dish. We bet you that even the cooking experience will leave you drooling.

So without further ado, let’s start with this very easy and amazingly tasty recipe that will tingle all your taste buds.

How to make

  • To make our authentic Indian tikka curry sauce, heat the clarified butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook and stir chopped onions and minced garlic until translucent.
  • Stir in our Tikka Curry Masala in the mix for 2 minutes.
  • Stir tomatopuréeinto the onion and spice mixture, and bring to a boil; then reduce the heat to low.
  • Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes; then mix in the light cream.
  • Bring sauce back to a simmer and cook, stirring often, until the sauce is thickened.

The tikka curry sauce is now ready to be used.

  • To make the final dish, heat vegetable oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
  • Stir chicken into the hot oil, and sprinkle lightly with our Tikka Curry Masala.
  • Sear until lightly browned, for about 3 minutes, while stirring often.
  • Transfer into the saucepan and simmer in the sauce for a few minutes.

Adjust salt as per taste, and enjoy your favorite Indian-style chicken tikka masala.
